Set 3 Antique Georgian Green Glass Bucket Shaped Twin Lipped Wine Glass Rinsers. Here we have a set of three lovely Georgian period green lead glass bucket bowled wine glass rinsers dating from around 1820.
They were used to rinse the small wine glasses at the dinner table between different wines. The hand blown glass each have two formed lips to hold the wine glass stem when rinsing. They all have polished or ground pontils. They are 4 inches high and the rim diameter of 4 1/2 inches. The three together are quite heavy at 1563g unpacked and are in very good condition with just a little minor surface marks, there are bubble inclusions within the metal.
There is an amount of wear to the bases that you would expect to see with antique glass. The glass makes a clear ring when tapped with the finger. These are great items for display and or use.
