The painstaking time and work required in production of glass like this is an art form long lost now, but tied to the earliest pieces of Moser which is literally the glass of Kings as we know now. In regards to provenance, this set comes from an exquisite northern NJ estate in which the contents were not for sale to the general public and have been acquired through private brokerage.

Even if they are not directly from the house of Moser, these are assuredly antique and of the finest Bohemian craftsmanship. These glasses are true works of art and will become the favorite of your collection. Glassware with this type of Inlay (not applied on top of the glass, but actually etched and incrusted INTO the glass) gold decoration is scarcely available on the market and will not last long. They are produced in a chalice-style shape with an air-blown bubble disk in the stem with 4 applied buttons. The rim of the glass and the lines of the foot are trimmed in gold matching the inlaid gold. Each glass measures 5 ΒΌ" tall, 3" diameter.
